Murray goes bananas

~
Dauphin Kings head coach Marlin Murray is in some hot water with the Manitoba Junior Hockey League. Last night Murray's Kings lost 5-1 to the Winnipeg Saints. He didn't speak after the game so we have to assume he was upset at the officials who awarded 16 power plays to Winnipeg, of which they scored 4 times.

Here is the video evidence.

The MJHL is undecided about punishment as Kim Davis told the Winnipeg Free Press.
"I’m still waiting on the official’s report and those types of things, so I can’t really comment on much right now, We will have a decision either later (Friday) or Saturday. It will come before Game 5, though, that’s for sure."
While rumours were flying that Murray was fired, the Kings say it's not true, but president Darren Russell isn't taking the incident lightly.
"Obviously, we aren’t pleased with this incident. That’s not how we want the Dauphin Kings to be represented. We’re aware of what happened and we’ll talk about it."
In full disclosure, I know Marlin Murray, and think he is a good guy. A fired up guy, but still a good person. However I wouldn't be surprised if he's on the outside looking in next year for quite a while, either by the hand of the MJHL or the Dauphin Kings. Last year Swan Valley assistant coach Dallas Anderson (another Manitoban I know) was slapped with 40 games for his in game tirade.
