I'm changing things up just for this week as I'm combining Top 5 Tuesday with our WHL Bantam Draft Preview series. This week I'm adding 5 more to the usual Tuesday list as our scouts have given us Ten goalies to watch for in the WHL Bantam Draft.
Brett Lewchuk-Saskatoon Frostbite
The Goods: 5’10 140
Scouts say...Lead the frostbite to a provincial title and a trip to the Western Canada Bantam Championships.
Eric Comrie-LA Selects
The Goods: 5’11 160
Scouts say...One of the top USA based goalies in this draft, and he'll be going head to head with Alberta’s best in Leduc at the upcoming AB Cup. He did though have many games where he didn't face a lot of shots.
Tristan Jarry-North Delta
The Goods: 6’1 160
Scouts say...BC’s top goalie and maybe the first goalie to hear his named called at the upcoming bantam draft later this month in Edmonton.
Coleman Vollerath-Calgary Bisons
The Goods: 5’11 145
Scouts say...Lead the Bisons to provincial title and within an OT goal of a Western Canada Championship.
Brad Rebaglaiti-Cranbrook Bantams
The Goods: 5’10 155
Scouts say...A gem of a goalie tucked in the Kootenays who earned his team a birth to the BC provincials. Brad is a quick, aggressive goalie that likes to play the puck.
Tarayn Phaneuf-Prince Albert Pirates
The Goods: 5’11 175
Scouts say...Big body goalie that covers the net well, likely the best lefty in the draft. An early exit from the provincial tourney surprised most.
Tyler Fuhr-Sherwood Park
The Goods: 5”11 160
Scouts say...One of the top goalies in this draft and could be the first AB goalie to be selected. His unique stylings makes him a stand out, but he stops the puck and that'll make him a lock early on draft day!
Brett Zarowny-KC Squires
The Goods: 6’1 165
Scouts say...Very Big and very detailed in his movements. He's an excellent puck stopper that faced lots of shots most nights for KC. But they lost early in the playoffs and he failed to make the AB cup, so that leaves guys like us guessing.
James Fisk-Airdrie Xtreme
The Goods: 6’0 180
Scouts say...Lead Airdrie to a regular season divisional title, but he'll need a good Alberta cup to raise his stock. Didn’t play as expected in the playoffs due to injury.
Wyatt Hoflin-Spruce Grove Saints
The Goods: 6’ 1” 170
Scouts say...Kept a very young Saints team in many hockey games, aggressive style is both effective and entertaining.

There are a few kids over 6' there, that's a lot of height on a 15 year old. Could be 6'4 or 6'5 by the time they are in their NHL draft years!
