2015 Draft spotlight: Lawson Crouse

-
This weekend on The Pipeline Show in our regular Draft Spotlight segment we had the chance to introduce fans to a top power forward in the Class of 2015. Lawson Crouse is in his second year with the Kingston Frontenacs of the OHL and he appeared on the show Saturday after a 6-4 defeat of the Plymouth Whalers the night before.

Our conversation with Lawson Crouse is after the jump.

The 5th overall pick in the 2013 OHL Priority Selection, Crouse is used to being under the spotlight. This season however, the microscope gets even stronger and bigger as the 6'4, 215 lb winger will be watched intently by the scouting staff of all 30 NHL teams.

As you will hear, Crouse was an excellent interview. Beyond his go to "Oh for sure" which began almost every answer, there was clearly an intelligence to the young man.

we covered everything from the start to his sophomore OHL campaign to his growing role on the team and his experience playing for Hockey Canada at the recent Ivan Hlinka tournament and the World U18s as an underage skater last April.
