The evolution of the Class of 2012 continues to take shape this week as both International Scouting Services and NHL Central Scouting have released their updated rankings. ISS head scout Ross MacLean will be back on The Pipeline Show this Saturday for our regular bi-weekly "ISS Draft Countdown" segment and you can be sure we'll be discussing their new #1 ranked player.
The ISS top 30 is an amalgamation of all eligible prospects while Central Scouting chooses to separate the leagues for their November release and they give a top 25 from each.
We speak with a 2012 draft eligible player on every edition of TPS, links to those interviews for the players we've already chatted with can be found below.
Here is the ISS top 30:

30. DALTON THROWER (D) 5'11 189 Saskatoon WHL
Obviously the big news here is the new #1 ranked player as Grigorenko has surpassed Yakupov in the eye of ISS.
The next notable positioning is that of rearguard Slater Koekkoek of the Peterborough Petes who comes in 7th, much higher than where NHL Central Scouting has him - 9th just in the OHL.
The fall of Windsor defender Nick Ebert is apparent - ISS dropped him all the way to 22nd while he didn't even crack Central Scouting's top 25 in the OHL.
Does the inclusion of Saskatoon's Dalton Thrower signal that the WHL's fab five defenceman should now be considered at Sensational Six? It's interesting to note that Central Scouting slots Thrower 14th in the WHL and that there are a trio of other blueliners between he and the recognized top 5.
Here is the release from NHL Central Scouting which includes the top 25 from the three CHL leagues, the USHL and also a handful of NCAA players as well. This link will take you to the European listing.
Ross MacLean will join us on Saturday and we'll look closely at five players up for 2012: Mikhail Grigorenko (Quebec), Brian Cooper (Fargo), Oscar Dansk (Sweden), Devin Shore (Canada East) and Gianluca Curcuruto (Ste. Sault Marie).
