Coming Down the Pipe...Tonight

~
We kick things off tonight at 7 on the TEAM 1260 in Edmonton or online here where you can also vote on our poll question and check out past shows contests.

Tonight we're expecting WHL Commissioner Ron Robison to join us and discuss the 2013 Memorial Cup, discipline and the future of small market teams among other things.

We'll also welcome Hockey Canada President Bob Nicholson. I happen to agree with Bob on moving the draft age to keep kids in junior longer. We'll also chat about the upcoming World Junior Championship in Edmonton and the org's new digs in Calgary.

Our 2012 draft prospect will be Stefan Matteau of the U.S. National development program. The budding power forward is another in the growing list of sons of NHLers. His dad Stephane is a Stanley Cup Champion.

There's some buzz over the just released ISS top 30 October rankings and that will certainly come up with our CHL Insider Sam Cosentino. We might also throw the idea of Thunder Bay joining the OHL.

We're tracking a Golden Gopher and Florida Panthers prospect who's off to a red hot start and we'll go Inside the AJHL with the voice of the Sherwood Park Crusaders Taylor Medak.

7-9 pm mst/9-11 pm est on the TEAM 1260 or online here. Drop us a line pipeup@theteam1260.com or tweet us @thepipelineshow.
