Shinnimin Gets 12 Games... Is It Enough?

~
The WHL has just announced that Tri City Americans forward Brendan Shinnimin has been suspended for 12 games for his hit from behind on Josh Nicholls of the Saskatoon Blades on October 6th.

Here again is the video of the incident. The question now is: Was the punishment enough?

We'd like to hear YOUR thoughts.

12 Games is not enough for a hit like that, the Q and the OHL made examples of the hits that occured in their league, the WHL should have done the same.

No, it's not enough; there is no place for a hit like that in hockey period.

No way is 12 games enough, that was brutal. Shinnimin was lining him up from outside the blue line.
