Record setting night in USHL

What a night for Chicago Blackhawk prospect Alex Broadhurst.  The forward for the USHL Green Bay Gamblers set multiple league records Tuesday as his Gamblers beat Youngstown 6-3.

What putt he 7th round pick of the Black Hawks in the record book was scoring his first career hat trick, but in a very special way.  Broadhurst scored in each period, and each time he lit the lamp, one of his teammates was in the penalty box.

Yes, it was a hattrick of shorthanded goals, something that has never happened in the playoffs or regular season before in the USHL.

The small forward had 3 shorties in his two year USHL career before this, but is known for his scoring, finishing 3rd this year.
