Tuesday night Guy and I started really ramping up our 2010 draft coverage. Each show we feature a different prospect for the upcoming draft, but from now till June 25th we'll be doubling and tripling our coverage.
Last night we scored a hattrick with 3 players who play 3 different positions, in 3 different leagues.

Sam Brittain is the 8th ranked North American goalie according to NHL Central Scouting. Brittain played for the Canmore Eagles this year in the AJHL and will attend and play for the Denver Pioneers next year. We asked Sam why he chose the AJHL/NCAA route? How his friendship with Oil Kings goaltender Cam Lannigan has pushed and motivated him, and what style of goaltender he is?
Next up was Jarred Tinordi, a bruising defenceman from the U.S. National Development team. Tinordi won't put a lot of points in the NHL but he might prevent a lot. He's the son of former NHL blueliner Mark Tinordi. We posed a few questions to Jared like what kind of influence his dad has had on his career? What it was like to captain team USA at the U18's? And what was more difficult the fitness testing or bizarre questions from NHL teams at the combine?
Finally Curtis Hamilton of the Saskatoon Blades was a guest of TPS. Some thought Hamilton would be a first round pick this year, but 3 different injuries derailed his season limiting him to just 26 games. Curtis gave us some insight to his injuries, how close he came to playing for the team his Dad owns in Kelowna, and what Lorne Molleken has meant to his development.
