The NHL draft is fast approaching and we’ve put together some head to head match ups featuring 20 different prospects. We’ve consulted 10 scouts from 10 different organizations to get their opinions in 5 different categories and ultimately, who they would take if they had the final say.
Enjoy these and tune into The Pipeline Show on Saturday June 25th from 10-Noon MST for a complete, in-depth recap of round one and coverage of day 2.

Offence: 8-2 Noesen
Defence: 8-2 Noesen
Toughness: 6-4 Noesen
Overall: 7-3 Noesen
Who Would You Take?
Noesen - "His skill package is high and he has a great amount of grit."
Noesen - "Noesen's game is further ahead at this point. Jacobs lacks some hockey sense."
Jacobs - "Jacobs because he's bigger and he's more projectable to be a NHL player. Noesen's skating scares me."
Noesen - "He was the guy that made Plymouth go. He got better every time that I went to see him."
Jacobs - "I see a lot of potential in Jacobs, he really stood out to me the times I watched Seattle play. He’s got a lot of 2-way potential based on how hard he works; he’s willing to do whatever it takes. He’s also able to play any sort of role that you want him to play."
Noesen - "This one for me isn’t even close, I have Noesen way higher on my list. There is a significant difference in the overall level of their game. You get a more direct game from Noesen and a better sense with attacking the game offensively. Defensively he’s more responsible and more reliable. Jacobs has too much cheat in his game for me."
Noesen - "He has more grit and jam."
