They are not going off the map like the last team from Winnipeg who shall remain nameless. I see them going with McNeil at 7. Sorry to all you people who think they will go Euro. They will not.nagshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09927946320766670216noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6677867857097423502.post-18403880612741781122011-06-23T16:13:21.301-06:002011-06-23T16:13:21.301-06:00Where is your's DG? ...Pretty similar to the one I put up yesterday Guy.

I don't like taking the goliath D-man at 19, but it's looking more and more like that'll be the pick. Given we've already got enough tall trees with the likes of Plante, Teubert, Petry, Marincin with only questionable to moderate offensive upside, I went for Jonas Brodin.

LT's right. We won't be going back to the USHL/NCAA route for a while.doritograndehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14497613230666426389noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6677867857097423502.post-57719549240126360552011-06-23T09:56:27.782-06:002011-06-23T09:56:27.782-06:00@LT - typo, I somehow I had him listed as a (D) bu...@LT - typo, I somehow I had him listed as a (D) but in the brief write up it said forward.

As for Mayfield, like I said, I don't think he's the guy they want but I do think that without moving up all the D-men they really want will already be gone. if so, they could take a forward or else they reach for Mayfield or Musil and I know which of those two I'd prefer.

@ hexty2001 - another typo. I actually do that annoyingly often for Minnesota and the Colorado Rock... er, Avalanche too. But I had Wild in the write up there too.Guy Flaminghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03178739486819659419noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6677867857097423502.post-13967796809805844262011-06-23T09:35:14.000-06:002011-06-23T09:35:14.000-06:00I'd be extremely happy with Mayfield at 19. I saw him play once this year and the thing I came away with was his raw physical power and speed. A couple of years in the NCAA would be ideal training for him.Coach pb9617https://www.blogger.com/profile/05868922507861734194noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6677867857097423502.post-43564904668997884732011-06-23T07:59:34.460-06:002011-06-23T07:59:34.460-06:00Nice list Guy.
