However, I will have to disagree with you having Klarc Wilson in the top 5 ahead of Brent Benson!! In fact, many in the scouting community believe Brent to be perhaps the top player in the whole age group. He put up 55+ pts playing 37 games on a 4th line on a Notre Dame team who rolled 4 lines all year long and went on to win the Telus Cup. Brent is on par, if not more talented than both Nugent-Hopkins and St. Croix and both players would likely tell you that. Mark McNeill would be up there somewhere but he'll be out until late November, Brendan Hurley who is also from Edmonton area has fallen a bit but still a good talent as well. The biggest talent from your area is Defenceman Duncan Siemens who is another Blades pick. Many are believing he could be a Top 5 pick in the 2011 NHL draft. We have Nugent-Hopkins at 4th and Benson for 7th overall right now for that draft. Mike St. Croix we have at 10th and Rattie 35th. Klarc Wilson at 39th and McColgan at 19th and falling after a terrible US Under 16 camp in which he put up just 1 goal in 6 games and the 1 point!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
